Australian Deaf Games

The Australian Deaf Games (ADG) will be held across Albury and Wodonga from 20 to 27 January 2018. Involving up to 19 sports and now held every four years, the games attract competitors from all over Australia and from a number of Pacific nations (New Zealand, Fiji and Samoa). The games provide competitors an opportunity to participate to whatever level they aspire, be it for fun or selection in Australian squads as individuals or in teams.  In addition, the games provide a major social and cultural festival for the whole deaf community.

Chrysler Show and Shine

‘Chryslers on the Murray’ has become an iconic event for Albury Wodonga and is on again on 16th – 18th March. It was first held in 1992 and every year it has become a bigger and better event. From a simple one-day ‘Show ‘n’ Shine’, it is now a 3-day event that includes drives or ‘runs’ to local tourist attractions and a swap meet that attracts specialist Chrysler vendors from across Australia.

Over the last few years in excess of 600 Chryslers have journeyed to the Wodonga area to celebrate everything Chrysler.
